Before I begin... Please excuse our messy apartment. Max is really good at making messes wherever he goes. So he’s been walking for about a week now but he’s getting pretty good. Now he even stands up on his own and bends over to pick things up. He was a really fast crawler. Everyone would say, “wow, he’s so fast!” Well he’s a fast walker too!
I also have to mention that the other day he opened the front door and walked right out! It's no wonder people keep telling me I have to be careful now. Geesh! My baby is growing so fast :,(

I love the way he so easily squatted down to pick up that thing off the floor. He has such great balance. Probably developed from all the exercises he has done by standing on dads hands high up in the air. I see lots of skateboarding, snowboarding and surfing in his future!
Oh boy... just wait until he's tall enough to UNLOCK the front door and walk out! That's always a fun stage, and it lasts for a looooong time. My 3-year-old is still in that phase! We had to install a safety lock at THE TOP of the door frame! Seriously. The.TOP. When you get to that ultra baby-proofing stage and you need advice, just let me know!
