My sister and I have been trying to run as often as possible. For motivation, are doing races. On Saturday we ran the University of Phoenix 5k. It was really fun and fulfilling. After running it, we feel like we want to keep running and do more races. This weekend we are running another 5k and on April 18th, we are running a 10k.
So this weekend our goal was to get under 30 minutes (we are outta shape!). We ran it in 29:38! wooo! So our goal for this saturday is to get under 27 minutes. I just can't believe that I used to run it in 21 minutes when I was in high school. It boggles my mind! How did I get so out of shape?! I mean, it was only 5 years ago! Maybe someday I will do that again.
