Reading with Tia Soin

My sister bought me this poem book before I was even pregnant. She said it was for when we have a baby. Little did she know she would have a nephew 10 months later. The other day she sat with Max and read him poems for at least a half hour. He loved it! He seemed so intrigued. He loves his Tia Soin.

Great Deal!

This past weekend we went to a thrift store to look for our halloween costumes and I found a boppy for $4. Yay! I've been wanting one but didn't want to spend the $. It was a little dirty so I had to wash it. I bought a really cute slip cover at Target and now it's perfect! Max seems to really like it too! :)

Sunday with friends

A couple of Sundays ago, we went to the Thorson's/Barnes' for dinner. It was really fun! We ate some yummy food and played a game. Then we just hung out...
Mia already loves Max. She's so gentle with him!

Adorable little SofiaI braided Kelli's hair... we were there for a long time! :)

Before Max was born, Mike and I saw a video in our child birth class that shows how babies this young can imitate their parent's expressions. So I've been working with Max to stick out his tongue and he's obviously mastered the skill.

Liz and Jimmy

They came for the weekend to visit their nephew. It was a lot of fun! They are already such a good aunt and uncle to Max. He loves them so much! Saturday night we went to the drive in and on Sunday we had a picnic in the park. The weather was so nice that Max enjoyed a peacful nap on the picnic blanket.

Sunday Visitors

Max was loving all the attention he got this weekend. Aunt Rhonda, Generra, and Rocky stopped by to see him.

Generra was scared to hold him at first because she thought that she was going to drop him... but of course she couldn't resist! ;)

Aunt Rhonda said that she wouldn't know how to take care of a baby anymore...hehe. She was a great mommy to my cousins so I know that's not true!

I'm so glad that he was able to meet some more of his family. Thank you for coming to see Max you guys! We love you!

Colic Calm

Max just started having really bad gas about a week or so ago and it's so sad because he cries so hard in pain for a good hour or two every night. I hate seeing him in so much pain! So I've tried the gas drops, massage, changing my diet, etc... nothing seems to work yet. I found this homeopathy gripe water online that's suppose to be really good. We got it in the mail today. Has anyone tried it? We'll see how it works.

He's getting big already!

Bree and Kenoa's Visit

My cousin Breeana and her baby boy, Kenoa flew out to visit for a few days. Bree was such a big help! I think she came at just the right time. I couldn't drive (Dr.'s orders) so she took Max and I to our appointments. She gave me a lot of good pointers and was just a wonderful big cousin. It was really nice spending quality time together. I love you Bree!

Max's first bath!

Last night, Max had his first sponge bath. As you can see, he was not very happy about it! He was so cute though and he smells so good now! :) After he was all bundled up and warm, he was back to his happy self. Daddy was excited to pick out his pajama. I love the way
Max looks at his daddy... such admiration! :p

The Labor Coaches

I just wanted everyone to know how wonderful my labor coaches were. Through those 8 hours of intense labor at the hospital, Mike and Soin were so awesome. I know they hated seeing me in so much pain but they were so good at keeping me focused and talking me through it and reminding me to relax and breath. Without them, I wouldn't have lasted as long as I did. I love them so much. Michael, you are the love of my life. This experience only made me fall deeper in love with you. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and daddy for our baby boy. Soin, you are my best friend and you have no idea how much you mean to me. Thank you for all of your support. You are a wonderful Aunt.
In between contractions...snacking on some jello.

Michael having a very intense conraction...trying to make me laugh and lift my mood as always (it worked for about 2 minutes)

Soin keeping me cool and helping me breath

We weren't looking forward to the next contraction!

We came home to these gorgeous flowers from Soin. She's so sweet.

Our Maximilian

We're home! I finally have a chance to put up some more pictures of our sweet angel. He is absolutely perfect and more than we could ever ask for. We love him so much. I'm doing a lot better. I'm still sore and healing. I can't believe I'm finally a Mommy. My dreams of having a wonderful husband and beautiful children are coming true. I always wanted to be a great wife and mommy growing up. I will do my best. These boys are the two loves of my life. I'm so excited for our future!

He's here!

This is Mike. I don't have a lot to say. I know once Bianca is feeling a little better she will put together a nice post on here. Bianca is doing great. Max is doing great. That's all that matters.

We love you all and want to thank you for your love. All of your support, advice and gifts have made this the most wonderful experience of our lives. Here are some pictures. You should be able to see bigger versions by clicking on them. Enjoy!
