Happy 25th Birthday, My Love!

We started off the evening a delicious birthday dinner with Terrence and Rachel at a really good Cuban restaurant. Then we came home and sang happy birthday to Mike. We had some chocolate cake with extra chocolate chunks and chocolate frosting...served with triple chocolate ice cream. Yum! Mike got new shoes! Can you tell he likes them?

JLo Stole Our Thunder!

As you all may know, Jennifer Lopez just recently had twins. Well she decided to name her boy Maximilian!!! How dare she?! It's okay...we still love the name and are considering it. I must say she has a good taste in names! :)

Babymoon at the Marriot!

So Mike was selected to attend the leadership summit at the Marriot Resort because he's so good at his job! :) So it looks like we will have a little babymoon afterall! Doesn't that pool look so fun! It's going to be so awesome and we're so excited!

Grandma Sheilia's Potato Salad

We're going to a ward party tonight and I was feeling pretty gutsy so I decided to make potato salad. Mike's mom suggested I ask my mom or my aunts for a good recipe because potato salad could easily be ruined if you don't cook the potatoes right. So I called my mom who told me to call my Aunt Tina and my Aunt Tina gave me a recipe that my grandma used.My grandma passed away before I was born so it's a very special recipe to me. Well I followed her directions and voila! It has olives, dill pickles, hard boiled egg, and I can't tell you the rest...it's a family secret! hehe! I must say it is absolutely delicious! Doesn't it look scrumptious?!

Disneyland!

My mom decided to take my sister and I to Disneyland before I can't do anything anymore. So we went and it was a blast! The sissy rides were still fun!

Aunt's 50th Birthday Party

So my Aunt had a 50th birthday party at the mission in. It was so awesome. She performed a dance that was seriously, straight out of dancing with the stars. She looks so good. She doesn't look 50, that's for sure. Mike and I danced a ton. Mike was the life of the party...showing his smooth moves!
