Max's Blessing Weekend

Max was blessed by his daddy last Sunday and we had many of our family members with us. First the Marshalls (minus 2) came to spend the weekend with Max...
Aunt Naomi loved holding and playing with him.
Aunt Maxine had fun feeding him. Then my momma and Jeff came to see Max and show love and support. They treated us all to a delicious dinner on Saturday night!

Then Sunday came and Max's godfather, Ian came along with grandpa.
The blessing was beautiful.
So many friends and family came to show their love and support. We had family who drove 2, 5, and 7 hours to be there. We love our family so much. We will never forget this day.
This is our little family. What a dream come true. I couldn't possibly ask for more.
Of course little Stephen was there for his cousin. Little buddies!
Max and Grandpa. Who's who?
Who's that hot lady? Grandmother? What? No way!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!

IKEA Trip

Soin and I had fun with Max at IKEA the other day!

Max and Easton

Our friends Trent, Sarah, and their baby came into town and we hung out. Their adorable boy, Easton, is only a few weeks older than Max. They were really cute together... laughing and playing. We took them for a fun swim in the pool.

Run for it!

My sister and I have been trying to run as often as possible. For motivation, are doing races. On Saturday we ran the University of Phoenix 5k. It was really fun and fulfilling. After running it, we feel like we want to keep running and do more races. This weekend we are running another 5k and on April 18th, we are running a 10k.

So this weekend our goal was to get under 30 minutes (we are outta shape!). We ran it in 29:38! wooo! So our goal for this saturday is to get under 27 minutes. I just can't believe that I used to run it in 21 minutes when I was in high school. It boggles my mind! How did I get so out of shape?! I mean, it was only 5 years ago! Maybe someday I will do that again.

2) When and what you receive will be a surprise! The catch? You must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 3 people who comment on your blog. Don't forget to post a picture of your homemade gift when you get it!
It's okay if you live far away so don't not make a comment because you don't live near me. That's what mail is for!

I've been baking...

Mike bought me an awesome Betty Crocker baking cookbook, so I've been trying new stuff. So far I've made...

French Silk Pie,
Cream Puffs,
Pizza,
And Blueberry/Rasberry/Marionberry Pie

Mike and Soin seemed to like the berry pie best. I will be making a lot more pies so that I can try to get the crust just right. As you can see, I need practice!

I love baking. It's my new hobby.

Our Sweet Angel is now 1/2 year old!

Lunch with Daddy.

Uncle Art & Aunt Irene's Wedding

Family Pictures

For my birthday, I wanted to get family picturs taken. My wonderful husband gave me a day at the spa where I got a facial, manicure, pedicure, and my hair styled so that I was all ready for our family picture! Anyway, I think they came out really nice. The photographer was really good at getting Max to smile.

My Little Stud

Mike's grandma has a cloth diaper business. She handmakes these amazing high quality diapers! She put the photos of Max modeling one of them on the website. If you click on the "meet the grandbabies" link, you can see Max and a slideshow with more pictures of him. Check them out!

Feel free to check out the diapers too. If you are interested in using cloth diapers, these are amazing and I highly recommend them... and I'm not just saying them because they are made by my gradma-in-law :)

Bummer...

I just found out that your baby has to be 6 months old in order to enter the Regis and Kelly contest. :/ Oh well... thanks for your opinions anyway! Maybe next year.
